A Great Wave: Sequel @ Poppenhusen Institute, NY

A Great Wave II, the sequel to last year’s commission by the Poppenhusen Institute, follows the ongoing travails of the Kuby family, as they settle into like in America and welcome (or try to welcome) Annalisa’s husband from Germany. The play will be presented at the Poppenhusen Institute, 114-04 14th Road, College Point, N.Y. 11356-1422, June 7, 7 pm and June 8, 3 pm. This iteration stars Rachel Halper, Clara Steeves, Joseph Sanford IV and Jake Laurence*. The piece is funded by the Puffin Foundation, Flushing Town Hall and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, an Immigrant Initiative Grant, and Councilmember Vicki Paladino.
