Butterfly is a story about the prophet Todd (Michael Mack), son of the prophet Jules (Ken Jackson), on the last day of his life.  Todd lives with his mother (Gigi Buscaglio) and has but a single follower, a nervous young Serbian refugee called Jan (Stephen Backus), yet he is supernally arrogant.

The Center for Human Ecology (Glasgow, Scotland) is sponsoring the publication of my activist art manifesto, due out sometime during the summer.  Alastair McIntosh, Fellow and former director of the Center, stated: "Tom's message is itself prophetic and needs to be widely heard, because it gives life and weaves the pathways of hope for the future."

Playwright, author and visual artist Tom Block began writing plays a few years ago. His work immediately attracted the attention of Wanderlust Theater Lab’s founder Roselie Vasquez-Yetter. She led Tom’s first play, White Noise through a series of readings and then to production last June.

The French photographer Julie Wolsztynski was in the studio last week for a shoot that will be featured in Artists Homes and Studios, by Ashley Rooney and published by Schiffer Publishing, due out in 2014.  Julie did a beautiful job, shooting film on a 2x2 camera and really capturing the colorful jumble of my little space!
