The Other Gaza: Co-Producer, Proposal and Pitch writer on documentary film

I have been hired by Palestinian filmmaker Wafa Jamil to help with the building of this important documentary about life in the Gaza Strip, focusing on Wafa’s family, who lives there.

The Other Gaza will be autobiographical, intimate, and family-focused, reflecting the dilemma of life in Gaza. It is a prison; it is a home. In this challenging milieu, how do people deal with daily obstacles? How do they show emotions when they lose a very close person?  Or how do they lighten, to celebrate a family member's wedding?

In all cases, family is at the center of these experiences.  And it is the family that The Other Gaza will focus on, in the unique and challenging world of the Gaza Strip.
