Journalist Ambar Castillo interviewed me for this article in the local paper, looking at my upcoming play which opens doorways of understanding between Israeli and Palestinian partisans. “At the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning in Queens, the reading of a local playwright’s work next week harkens back to before the founding of the State of Israel — and toward overlooked encounters between Jews and Muslims — in a tale of friendship between a Holocaust survivor and Sufi villager.”
