Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, Mexico

I’m traveling to Monterrey, Mexico to give a talk, visit programming and run workshops invited by Indira Sanchez Tapia, the Education and Public Programs Manager of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Monterrey. We met when I gave a talk to the US State Department’s “IVLP Impact Award Project: Human Rights Through Art Education” cohort last December, in NYC. Recently, Indira initiated a semester-long project at her museum, at the intersection of human rights and the arts. She noted:

"I was inspired to develop human rights through art education, thanks to my encounter with Tom Block in New York, where he presented the mission, values, goals and impact from his International Human Rights Art Festival."

I’ll be in Monterrey from the 20-25th of October.
